Dare To Lead™

“A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential.” Brené Brown

To scale daring leadership and build courage in teams and organizations, we have to cultivate a culture in which brave work, tough conversations, and whole hearts are the expectation, and armor is not necessary or re.png

Dare to Lead™ - BlueSky’s Foundational Program

The world is desperate for brave leaders; leaders who are not silent about hard things, who ask the right questions, who are self-aware enough to lead from their hearts and not from fear.

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown*, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program, what she refers to as a “skill-based playbook for leaders.” The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is not an inherent quality - you either have it or you don’t - but rather it is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

During the Dare to Lead™ course, we guide participants in developing the skills and tools necessary to cultivate brave leaders and courageous cultures; helping individuals, teams and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Our facilitators bring agility, humor and dedication to their work.  With decades of experience, BlueSky Project associates have worked with people and organizations spanning a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, technology, pharmaceutical, education, non-profits and more.

Working with BlueSky Project means accepting the invitation to engage; to learn, apply, and reinforce the habits that build brave leaders and courageous cultures.

*Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous leadership. She is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead, which also debuted at #1 on The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly list.
